After changing their name from The Big Six to Project: Vengeance after some lineup changes, we've finally got a debut single! Project: Vengeance is now streaming "Cut. Bleed. Repeat." which you can stream below in all its crushing glory. And with a lineup of Left To Suffer's Taylor Barber, Infant Annihilator's Dickie Allen, Traitors' Tyler Shelton, Lorna Shore's Will Ramos, and Spite's Darius Tehrani, is it any surprise that the song is deathcore madness?
Special shout out to Traitors guitarist Luke Fiadino, who provided all the not-vocal instrumentation on the song. The five above vocals are getting a lot of the limelight, but Fiadino's role should certainly not be forgotten.
For those unaware of the history behind The Big Six, they originally unveiled their existence in December with vocalists from Attila, Fit For An Autopsy, Lorna Shore, Left To Suffer, Traitors, and Infant Annihilator.
Then after one teaser, Attila vocalist Chris Fronzak left the band and was replaced by Spite vocalist Darius Tehrani. But it was all good – there was still six of 'em and the name made sense. Well, until Fit For An Autopsy vocalist Joe Badolato quit the band a few weeks after Fronzak. The Big Six put out a call for a new sixth vocalist, but never gave any updates on what was going on afterward.
The Big Six ultimately changed their name to Project: Vengeance and here we are – deathcore supergroup.
