Emerging from the shadows of North Dakota are your new favorite death metal band Phobophilic. The band will release four crushing new tracks under the title Undimensioned Identities on September 13 via Rotted Life, and we're premiering their brand new song "That Which Swallowed The Sun" for you today.

Here's what Phobophilic had to say about the track.

"Musically, we wanted to write something that maintained a dark atmosphere while still being upbeat and having raw energy, similar to early Morbid Angel or Crematory (SWE). Lyrically, the song is an analogy. It’s about recognizing how tiny and insignificant we are in the cosmos and being humbled by it. The same way we step on an anthill may be the same way our sun is consumed by an unknown interdimensional being. We know so very little about the universe surrounding us and maybe that’s for the best"

Pre-order Undimensioned Identities via Rotted Life's Bandcamp or webstore.
