Periphery has hardly ever shied away from their electronica influences, and vocalist Spencer Sotelo has embraced them outside the band in his Endur and Nik Mystery projects. Sotelo continues to wear his love of the genre proudly on his sleeve by guesting on the new PhaseOne track "Digital".
While it seems safe to suspect Sotelo would provide just clean vocals to a fairly dance-heavy track, PhaseOne and Sotelo do a great job tailoring the music and vocals to be pretty heavy. Which shouldn't be a huge surprise considering PhaseOne's coming album Transcendency also features the entirety of Northlane and Thy Art is Murder vocalist CJ McMahon
