Pelican is back with their first new material since 2019 – "Adrift" and "Tending The Embers". The songs are also Pelican's first since reuniting with founding guitarist Laurent Schroeder-Lebec in 2022, and showcase a shift from their usual bombast to a more delicate approach. Though yeah, they're still heavy when they wanna be. See the end of "Adrift" for evidence of that.
