Ormskirk will release their self-titled debut album on June 5 and we're premiering their thrashy, blackened new song "Helheim" today! The song is entirely in Norwegian and, if you speak the language, will tell you a tale.
"Helheim is a tale of the Norse envisionment of the home of the goddess Hel, sung in our mother tongue of Norwegian. The song features fast rhythms and complex harmonies, along with a killer bass groove that serves as a finale."
Ormskirk was produced by Daniel Bergstrand (Behemoth, Dark Funeral, In Flames) at Dugout Productions and mixed by Lawrence Mackrory (Darkane) at Obey Mastering. Pre-order Ormskirk here.
