Massacre will release their new record Resurgence on October 22, and is now streaming their crushing new single "Ruins of R'lyeh".
"I’m going to take you back down into the abyss! This track, 'Ruins of R’lyeh,' like many of the other’s on the 'Resurgence' album are direct sequels to tracks off 'From Beyond'," said vocalist Kam Lee." With a purposeful musical connection to the track 'Cryptic Realms,' this new song of O.S.D.M. takes the listener back down into the depths of the darkness with a very heavy laden Lovecraftian lyrical direction loosely based on 'The Call Of Cthulhu.' The record is Massacre's first new one in seven years and first with guitarists Scott Fairfax (Memoriam), Jonny Pettersson (Heads For The Dead, Wombbath), and Rogga Johansson (Paganizer, Down Among The Dead Men), as well as drummer Brynjar Helgeton (ex-Down Among The Dead Men).
