Hard rockers Last in Line have dropped a highly-stylized, high-energy new track entitled "Ghost Town," while also announcing their new LP, Jericho, in on the way, arriving March 31 via earMUSIC. You can check out the video for "Ghost Town" just below.
In case you forgot, Last in Line features a stellar line-up of some of hard rock's greatest performers: frontman Andrew Freeman, bassist Phil Soussan (ex-Ozzy Osbourne), and former Dio members Vivian Campbell (Def Leppard) and Vinny Appice (ex-Black Sabbath).
"The song for me describes breaking a cycle from different perspectives," said Freeman about "Ghost Town" in a statement. "On a personal level it could be family, career or life expectations, putting a person in an unwanted or unwelcome space. On a grander scale it addresses government expectations. Nonsensical, unethical ideas and laws that become the norm, while turning a blind eye to larger problems."
In that same statement, Vivian Campbell noted that, "With Last in Line, just as we did with Dio , we cut the basic tracks live. It's important for us to capture the energy of the syncopation of playing together in real time – much like the energy of a live show. This record represents the best of both worlds: the spirit of an energetic band performance, and the more reflective and nuanced qualities of our individual performances, too."
Or, as Vinny Appice put it, as only he can, "All the musical forces of Last in Line are combined here for a super-powerful new record. Press play and put your seatbelts on!!"
Jericho is packed to the brim with wild riffs, high-flying solos and power drums, and you can pre-orse/pre-save your copy today by clicking right here. Also, to keep up to date on all things Last in Line, be sure to follow them on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or visit their official website.
