Legendary Japanese post-rock-meets-screamo band Envy is back with a brand new single "Seimei" and an EP of the same name due out November 9. If you've ever heard Envy before, then you know what to expect – beautifully constructed music laid behind spoken word vocals that all explode into a flurry of massive melodies and distortion. It's great.
"Seimei contains 3 songs: 'Seimei,' 'Zanshin' and 'Yamayura,'" said the band of Seimei. "It is a title that entrusts the word "Seimei" to the usual way of life that awaits us, finding a small hope in the dark passage of time."
