GWAR Streams Anthemic New Single "Mother F*cking Liar"

Burn, burn.

Gwar 2022

Gwar will release their first new album in five years The New Dark Ages on June 3, and is now streaming their new single "Mother Fucking Liar." If you're in the mood for a more anthemic Gwar song that's obviously going to fit into a live setting super well, then you're going to dig this one.

“This song is for anybody who’s sick of all the pieces of shit talking out of both sides of their mouth. Motherfuck a motherfucking liar,” said vocalist Michael "Berserker Blóthar" Bishop.

Bishop also recently talked about New Dark Ages as a whole, saying it's closer to the band's '90s material than anything else.

"This one has a lot of variety on it that actually I think is more like the records we did in the '90s, in the early '90s. Partly that's because I'm playing bass on it, so it's just got a different sound. The songs are… I think it's just maybe a little more punk than the last record. It's fun. I love it."

Pre-orders for The New Dark Ages are available here. Gwar will hit the road this May with Goatwhore, The Native Howl, and Nekrogoblikon. Get those dates below.
