Fallujah is back with another very technical, heavy single "Embrace Oblivion." Much like the first single, this one brings with it all the dizzying death metal and atmospheric bits of their older material. Plus the guest vocals from Katie Thompson are excellent.
Fallujah recently announced vocalist Kyle Schaefer (Archaeologist) and bassist Evan Brewer (ex-Entheos, ex-The Faceless) have joined the band alongside Fallujah founders guitarist Scott Carstairs and drummer Andrew Baird for their new record Empyrean due out September 9. "'Embrace Oblivion' is about accepting change on a personal level, and trusting in your ability to adapt and grow from events that may seem destructive in the short-term," said Schaefer. "Sometimes we need to break down our own established structures in order to build something better in their place."
Fallujah, Psycroptic, Interloper, and Cognitive will hit the road across North America beginning this September.
