Defeated Sanity is back with a new single "Temporal Disintegration" that'll break your head clean off your shoulders. "We like to think of this song as the andante on the album," said Defeated Sanity of the single.
On the new record, new Defeated Sanity guitarist Vaughn Stoffey added: "Chronicles isn't as tough on the brain as the last two albums. It's rawer and more straightforward, which gets back to what fans love about Psalms of the Moribund".
"The last few DS albums leaned heavily on the proggier side of our sound", added Defeated Sanity drummer and founding member Lille Gruber. "We still like to experiment, but on our new album, we wanted to get back to the raw slamming that our fans love about Psalms of the Moribund or Chapters of Repugnance."
Defeated Sanity will release their new record Chronicles Of Lunacy on November 22 via Season of Mist. Chronicles Of Lunacy features Danny Nelson and Paolo Paguntalan as backup vocalists on "Amputationsdrang" and "Accelerating the Rot". Chronicles Of Lunacy was produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Colin Marston.
