Dali's Llama will release their split with Fatso Jetson dubbed Legends Of The Desert: Volume 3 on March 24. We're streaming the new Dali's Llama single "Lizards" right now, which doesn't take itself too seriously and has a noticeable absence of wizards.
"I think real music has humor. It’s not all life and death. We learn that from bands like AC/DC, The Who, Van Halen, The Damned, and even Black Sabbath with 'Fairies Wear Boots,' etc. Not only are they fucking powerful and smart, but sarcastic and not afraid to make fun of themselves or others.
"This song is saying that you can be heavy without trying to write lyrics like you are writing the next Game of Thrones. It can be about something real, human, intelligent. In the desert where we live there are no wizards, but weed is legal, water is the king, and you can bet your ass there are plenty of lizards."
Much like the other two Legends Of The Desert splits, the artwork is done by artist Joshua Mathus of Phoenix, AZ. Pre-orders for Legends Of The Desert: Volume 3 are available here.
