Avenged Sevenfold is now streaming "We Love You Moar" featuring Pussy Riot vocalist Nadya Tolokonnikova. Aside from the obvious change of Tolokonnikova's vocals in the verses, Avenged Sevenfold changed up quite a few things in this new version from the original. Namely that M. Shadows' vocals are way more robotic, the mix is different, and the whole middle section with the guitar solo is replaced with electronic drums and synth madness. It's pretty cool!
Alongside "We Love You Moar" comes a custom balaclava created with Tolokonnikova. All proceeds go to the SOS North Caucasus, who are helping LGBTQ people facing mortal danger and persecution in North Caucasus, Russia. Get one of the limited-to-300 balaclavas here.
In part, the SOS North Caucasus described themselves as such on their website: "We help LGBTIQ+ people to flee from the regions where they face discrimination, violence and mortal danger. We provide them with safe housing, legal assistance, financial, medical and psychological help. Our aim is to give them an opportunity to start a new safe life."
Tolokonnikova is currently on the Russian Interior Ministry's wanted list for allegedly having insulted religious feelings of believers.
