With a name like Albez Duz, it's difficult to gauge what you're about hear. Fortunately it all works out, because Albez Duz rules. The group brings to the table a very doom-heavy brand of swaggering metal that portends the end times in such a way that sure, it might bum you out, but you're still going to listen to it a ton. Which is why I'm stoked to premiere the band's new song "Rites fo Hidden Souls" today from Albez Duz's coming record Enigmatic Rites.
"The already live-proven 'Rites Of Hidden Souls' is the opener to our new record Enigmatic Rites. It was also the first song to be written after the release of Wings of Tzinacan and it's one of the shortest and fastest ones we ever made. The Temples must burn!"
Enigmatic Rites is out April 26 in Europe and May 10 in the United States. Enigmatic Rites was recorded by Albez Duz mastermind Eugen Herbst and Julian Müsseler at "Devil's II" studio Berlin and was mixed and mastered at Woodshed Studio by V. Santura (Triptykon, Dark Fortress). Grab a pre-order here.
