A Perfect Circle have a New Year's gift for patient fans, in the form of a new single, “Disillusioned.” The nearly six minute song is a follow up to their first single in years, "The Doomed."
The track will be available for purchase tomorrow, but it can be streamed below right now:

The lyrics already found their way onto Genius:
We have been overrun by our animal desire
Addicts of the immediate keep us obedient and unaware
Feeding this mutation, this pavlovian despairWe've become disillusioned
So we run towards anything glimmeringTime to put the silicon obsession down
Take a look around, find a way in the silence
Lie supine away with your back to the ground
Dis- and re-connect to the resonance now
You were never an island
Unique voice among the many in this choir
Tuning in to each other, lift all higherWillingly been re-wired by clever agents within
Looping our reflections, our obsessions draw us in
Fix and fixation, no sentience beyondWe've become disillusioned
So we dive like crows towards anything glitteringTime to put the silicon obsession down
Take a look around, find a way in the silence
Lie supine away with your back to the ground
Dis and re-connect to the resonance now
You were never an islandUnique voice among the many in this choir
Tuning in to each other, lift all higher…
While we still have no official word on when a full-length album will be released, the band will be releasing a limited-edition 10" vinyl with their two singles, "The Doomed" and "Disillusioned" on March 9, 2018. Pre-orders are available on the band's website.
The artwork for the 10" actually looks pretty great:
Maynard James Keenan is going to be a busy fellow this year with the release of a new album from A Perfect Circle and from Tool in the same year. At least, that's according to drummer Danny Carey.
