You guys remember a couple of weeks back when we reported on this amazing Iron Maiden Eddie-inspired ice chest that every metalhead needs in their backyard? Man, it was the coolest metal merch I'd seen in a while. Well, it seems like the trend will continue, as the many geniuses out there continue to put their artistry to fantastic use. Next up on the want-list: an oil barrel that has been retrofitted for a Metallica-themed coffee table.
The coffee table—the handiwork of Spanish-based designer Manzana5Tienda—indicates that the table was originally a 200lt recycled oil barrel, and is available on Etsy now for about $250 USD plus shipping (from Spain). Manzana5Tienda also has some other interesting themed items created from what appears to be primarily barrels and large tin cans, including a Campbell's Tomato Soup dog house and a Jack Daniel's end table.
The seller states that “Our original and practical coffee table has an industrial touch, with a mixture of iron and wood and, with your idea, it’ll be unique.” Check it out today—getting some new furniture for the upcoming spring season is always a fun adventure.
