Metallica has launched the second edition of their very own Monopoly board game just in time for the holidays! The new edition's board mirrors Metallica's 2013 touring schedule when they became the first and only band to ever perform on all seven continents.
The game replaced hotels and houses with arenas and stadiums, and the player tokens include Lady Justice, the Death Magnetic coffin, the Ride the Lightning electric chair, the Master of Puppets cross, the Metal Up Your Ass toilet, and the Scary Guy. Metallica Monopoly is available here for $39.99.
As for Metallica themselves, drummer Lars Ulrich recently revealed they're neck deep in writing new material. Both guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo called the new material "very collaborative", adding that they've got quite a lot of new music to sort through.
