The Death estate and Knucklebonz have teamed up for statues of both the late and great Death frontman Chuck Schuldiner, as well as the demon on the cover of Scream Bloody Gore. The Schuldiner statue stands 8" tall and is a limited edition of 3,000, while the Scream Bloody Gore statue stands 8.5" tall and is limited to 1,987 pieces.
A product description of both is as follows: "The Death statues are created using a team of highly skilled artists. Each statue is sculpted and cast in poly-resin and then hand-painted in fine detail. These limited-edition statues created by KnuckleBonz are highly collectible. Officially Licensed with the Chuck Schuldiner Estate."
"Chuck has finally been immortalized amongst the likes of Randy Rhoads, Jimi Hendrix, Tony Iommi and Ace Frehley," said Schuldiner's nephew Chris Steele. "KnuckleBonz truly captured the essence of Chuck at what I believe to be the peak of his short but meaningful career. I, along with the rest of the Schuldiner family, are absolutely ecstatic. Let the metal flow!"
"We are so pleased to be working with the Schuldiner family to celebrate Chuck's music and legacy of metal," added Tony Simerman, CEO/creative director of KnuckleBonz, Inc. "We were founded almost 20 years ago with the goal of serving music superfans and we're very pleased to be able to create something to pay tribute to Chuck."
