The Metal God, Rob Halford has achieved a lot in his historic career, but one thing has elluded him, being immortalized as a Simpsons character. That is, until now.
Halford will appear in an upcoming episode titled "Steal This Episode," which will more star-studded guests including Judd Apatow, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Channing Tatum and Will Arnett playing an FBI agent.
The episode deals with piracy, as Homer gets into trouble after screening pirated movies for all of Springfield in his backyard, one of which is a lampoon on the Judd Apatow film This Is 40 which is called Life Is Funny.
According to EW, who broke the story, "Halford winds up singing a parody of the Judas Priest classic 'Breaking The Law' in an effort to nab Homer." I'm in!
The Simpsons is my favorite TV show of all time. I've completely fallen out of watching it in the last decade, checking in here and there when there is a worthy guest star. This will be one such occasion! Congrats to Halford on landing the gig.
