The Puddle of Mudd frontman hits a new low.

The Puddle of Mudd frontman hits a new low.

The saga of Wes Scantlin gets just a little bit sadder. Just one month after his band walked out on him for erratic behavior and two months after cops showed up in SWAT gear to arrest him, Scantlin was arrested again, and this time it might be a bit more difficult for him to get out.

TMZ reports that Scantlin, who appearntly made peace with his band, was arrested right before he was set to go out and perform the encore of his set, this past Saturday night, April 30 in Hermosa Beach, CA. Cops showed up with bail bondsmen to arrest Scantlin at the Saint Rocke club on an outstanding warrant for vandalism after Scantlin trashed a house he was staying in. Footage of the arrest was posted on TMZ:

Scantlin skipped out on the hearing for his vandalism charge twice, and as a result, the judge has upped the bail to $250,000. According to the TMZ report, Scantlin is still in custody unable to make the bail. It's likely he will not be able to find a bondsman to put up the cash for the bail, seeing as though he has a history of skipping out.

At the very least, at least Scantlin can remain out of trouble behind bars. His erratic behavior the last few weeks has reached new levels of insanity.
