As I'm sure most of you are aware, 170 people are currently facing organized crime charges stemming from a deadly shootout between rival motorcycle gangs in Waco, Texas. One of the 170 arrested is bassist Theron Rhoten, who is a member of bands like Sans Soleil, Communion, and The Roller. Those bands have opened for the likes of Yob, Earth, Goatsnake and a few other nation acts, so they're not exactly "nobody."
Rhoten, like all the other bikers, are currently being held on $1 million bail, though Rhoten's wife is calling bullshit on his arrest in The Associated Press.
"He's good to his family," she said. "He doesn't drink; he doesn't do drugs; he doesn't party. He's just got a passion for motorcycles."
So we'll see in the coming days who is actually let go and who is charged for the senseless violence.
