All I can say is Phil Rudd knows how to party.
The world was shocked when Rudd was arrested last month on drug possession charges and on suspicions of trying to get two people killed. The charges were eventually lowered, but that didn't stop Rudd from partying and continuing to get arrested. Today, we have new info on the case.
New facts have been released from the ongoing trial and The Canberra Times reports that Rudd threatened to kill a contractor and the contractor's daughter during a phone conversation. It's alleged Rudd called this "business associate" to discuss what would be done to the victim and daughter. Rudd is denying these claims and has pled not guilty to the charge.
Even more interesting is the amount of drugs found in Rudd's home. The other charges brought against Rudd are for possession of illegal narcotics. When Rudd was arrested, 0.71 grams of methamphetamine and 130g of cannabis were found in his home. ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY GRAMS OF WEED! That's a lot of weed!
Rudd is pleading not guilty to the meth possession but has admitted to possession of the ganja. 'Attaboy, Rudd! Also, Rudd's bail conditions have been made stricter, disallowing his use of illegal narcotics while on trial, thanks to that fight he had last week.
The trial is ongoing and we will keep you posted with any further developments.
