10 Great Metal Collaborations That Worked


Shrinebuilder is the result of some of the most prolific stoner/doom/sludge musicians coming into one room to record the clash of their genre's titans. This seemingly one-off collaboration was a combination of Neurosis’ Scott Kelly, Sleep/Om’s Al Cisneros, Melvins’ and The Obsessed/Saint VitusWino. The band put out a self-titled full-length and a live album before going back to being prolific elsewhere. Kelly has said he's unsure if there will be a follow-up or not, but the debut is so solid that there doesn't seem to be the need for it.
