Palms
Didn’t have too look too far back to pay this one some respect. Their 2013 self-titled debut answered the question no one ever really asked “what would happen if you combine Isis with Deftones?” It’s not to say that we weren’t happy with the answer, but unsurprisingly you’d get Palms. And to say Palms is exactly what you’d expect from the combination is not a slam on the band. It’s everything that worked from their other endeavors blended together into something delicious and relaxing.
