Earlier this week, we reported that bassist John Campbell is sitting out the rest of the Lamb of God tour due to a family emergency. The band enlisted Matt DeVries, formerly of Chimaira and briefly Six Feet Under and currently the bassist of Fear Factory, to help fill those shows. Now that Matt has a few shows under his belt, how's he doing?
Pretty damn good, especially for somebody who got little to no notice about this. Dude is killing it. If you close your eyes, you almost wouldn't know there is a fill-in bassist at all.

We initially reported that DeVries would be on the remainder of the tour, but it will actually be only for a few dates and then the band is hoping to find another replacement.
Lamb of God recently relaunched their merch store, and in an interesting twist, all the clothing is modeled by actual fans who showed up for a photo shoot at Brooklyn bar Duff's.
