Last we heard was that Guns N' Roses would be focusing on a new album after a handful of shows in October. Now in a deleted social media post by North American amplifier modification company Kruse Kontrol Amplification, it seems like it might be a little sooner. The post, as reported on by Blabbermouth, claims someone representing Kruse Kontrol Amplification wrote the following.
"Slash's 1987 Silver Jubilee in the house! Dropped off by GnR producer Caram Costanzo himself the amp needs to be serviced and tuned up to sound stellar for this Saturday's recording of new material at Axl Rose's studio in Malibu. I'm one of the very few fortunate few ever getting to work on and play this cool amp!"
Costanzo previously worked on Guns N' Roses' 2008 album Chinese Democracy. Guns N' Roses Central (below) has also reported on this rumor.
This shouldn't be too much of a surprise, as Slash has been talking about a new record, bassist Duff McKagan has been talking about a new record, and guitarist Richard Fortus has been talking about a new record. As of right now though, this should be treated as pure speculation and nothing more.
