Jeordie "Twiggy Ramirez" White was recently accused of rape by his ex-girlfriend Jessicka Addams from over 20 years ago. The accusation may or may not have lent a hand in White's firing from Marilyn Manson's band, though White didn't mention it in his initial statement. White simply said he was taking a leave of absence, will be focusing on his continuing sobriety, and will be spending time with his family.
Now White has made a follow-up statement regarding Addams' accusation, and once again touches on his departure from Manson's band.
I have only recently been made aware of these allegations from over 20 years ago. I do not condone non-consensual sex of any kind. I will be taking some time to spend with my family and focus on maintaining my several years of sobriety. If i have caused anyone pain i apologize and truly regret it.
It's a pretty short statement that doesn't really tell us a whole lot. It'll be interesting to see if either Manson or Addams addresses White's response at any point.
