The Dillinger Escape Plan has canceled their European tour dates due to guitarist Ben Weinman's broken hand.
The band has canceled all dates from June 20 to July 6, prior to their headlining gig on this year's Summer Slaughter Tour itinerary. The band performed as a four-piece this past weekend at Orion Music + More in Detroit, while Weinman was sitting off to the side, judging the band, sipping soda, reading Revolver, and doing backup vocals, as we posted on our Instagram:
Metal Insider reports Weinamn will have surgery this Thursday with the hopes to be healed in time for Summer Slaughter.
Hopefully, Ben's hand recovers before July 19, the band's first date on the Summer Slaughter Tour. That would be a major bummer for a lot of this year's concert-goers.
