COREY TAYLOR To Undergo Emergency Surgery; Select SLIPKNOT Tour Dates Postponed

Corey Taylor lets us know what he thinks of having to undergo emergency surgery and push back the tour.

One of, if not the, biggest metal tours of the summer – Slipknot and Marilyn Manson, is being postponed for two weeks as Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has to undergo emergency surgery.

Taylor revealed in a statement moments ago, that he has to go under the knife for some last minute spinal surgery:

Regretfully, I'm sending this to our fans to inform you that we will be postponing the first couple of weeks of our upcoming U.S tour. Unfortunately, I had to undergo an unplanned spinal surgery. I am recovering nicely, and all went well! I need a little recovery time before hitting the stage. We will start the summer tour in Nashville on 6/28 and continue as previously scheduled. An update on the rescheduled dates will be available in the next few days. I hope you all understand and thanks for always having my back!

Spinal surgeries seem like no joke, no doubt years of touring have done a number on Taylor's back. But it must not be too major if Taylor will recover by the end of the month.

Update: Taylor has checked in with an update saying that he had a broken neck he didn't even know about and surgery was a success. Taylor offered a few more details on what happened.  Here's what we got so far.
