Black Sabbath's career as a touring band is completely over and its members seem to slowly be going off to do their own things. Ozzy Osbourne has announced a two-year farewell tour for 2018 and 2019, guitarist Tony Iommi has repeatedly said he'd like to do more music on his own, and now bassist Geezer Butler says he's looking to do more in 2018.
According to Butler in an interview with Billboard, he says he'll be doing some traveling as he has been, but would like to finish his home studio and make some more music.
"I'm not in a hurry to do anything," he says. "I'm traveling a lot, seeing the places (the band) only stayed for one night and going back and spending some time there. We've recently moved house this year and I'm going to be building my home studio, but it's taken me ages. Next year I'll see if I can get back into music."
Maybe we'll get another Geezer record? It's been nearly 13 years since Geezer's Ohmwork album, unless Butler is looking to do something completely different this time around.
