That Time SLIPKNOT's CLOWN Grossed Out DIMEBAG DARRELL, According To COREY TAYLOR

This is the most disgusting story you will ever hear.

In a recent interview with Classic Rock, Corey Taylor, the Slipknot and Stone Sour singer, expounded on some of his encounters with various celebrities across the years. This included working with the likes of Dave Grohl, Velvet Revolver, and Anthrax, and hanging out with the QI Elves. It also encompassed more adventurous accounts, such as hanging with Metallica and imbibing in their backstage stash until it ran dry. However, out of the many stories Taylor had to tell, none could top his retelling of the first time he met the late Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell.

Corey takes us back to 1999, and the chaos that followed when he first met Dimebag. They connected in Dallas, when Slipknot played in support of Coal Chamber. The retelling is as colorful and vibrant as the timeless characters within it. “The first time we played Dallas, Dime and Vinnie [Paul, ex-Pantera drummer and Dimebag’s brother] came over. We ended up at a Clubhouse, and they proceeded to get us so shitfaced it wasn’t even funny,” Corey recalled. “Their whole thing was all about doing pranks on people. Clown [Slipknot percussionist Shawn Crahan] said, “Whatever you think of trying, I’m not going to balk.” One of the chefs hollowed out a tomato and stuffed it with incredibly hot red chili peppers, and Dime asked, “How much is it gonna cost to for you to get all this down?” And Clown replied, “I don’t need your money”, and proceeded to grab it, and ate it like if it was an apple.

“But It got even worse. We headed to the men's restrooms, and while we were pissing Dime saw a piece of gum on one of the cakes in the urinal, turned around and said, ‘Alright, Clown, how much would it take…’ Before he could even complete the sentence, Clown reached down, grabbed the gum and chewed it. It was so incredibly repugnant!"

Dime just gave up. He would remember about the incident very frequently: “Clown was the one motherfucker I couldn’t get to budge, he truly fucked me up!”
