It's Labor Day weekend, today is also my birthday, which means I will most likely not remember anything from this weekend. Thank the Labor Day Gods for that one. Anyway, here's what you might have missed this week:
We posted four more awesome clips for our Ask The Artist series, focusing on this year's Summer festival bands. We asked them about the best and worst part about being on a summer festival, their drink of choice on tour, proper festival attire, and my favorite: the best and worst stage moves in metal.
Frank hung out with Textures and talked to the band about their upcoming album.
We got a new recipe from the Vegan Black Metal Chef, and we interviewed the creator of the series on the Livecast.
Ryan Adams released an acoustic cover of Iron Maiden's classic, "Wasted Years" which we found ourselves enjoying. Also, we gave Bruce Dickinson some props for being an MVP at life.
We asked if this was the future of extreme music.
