This weekend, we all had a good laugh at Puddle of Mudd's attempt at covering the challenging Nirvana song "About A Girl." He did not do a good job at it. But, if you look at all the other dumb shit that Wes has done over the years, it really pales in comparison.
Scantlin is also recently sober, so I'm sure he's taking it one day at a time, and more power to him for trying to stay clean. It seems he is using some language from sobriety to deal with being the butt of the internet's joke for the last few days. On his Instagram, Scantlin responded to the haters thusly:
“Rise above others who try and take you down… I’m at my BEST NOW… and that’s all that matters. I pray for all of you because we care. Jealousy is toxic, and toxic people are a waste of time. We walk away with nothing but a SMILE.”
I can say that while I certainly joined in the mockery of Scantlin, there hasn't been one moment in my life that I've been jealous of the dude. But, again, more power to you!
