Now that metal shirts have been deemed the look of the summer by a major fashion magazine, everybody wants to get in on the fun.
Previously, we've called out overpriced metal gear from outlets such as Urban Outfitters, Diesel and whatever this is. Now, high-end fashion retailer Barney's is getting in on the overpriced fun. Last week, we posted a $17 Marilyn Manson shirt they were selling for $195 because it had a Justin Bieber logo on it. This is much worse.
Back in March, we asked what unreadable band logo hoodie is Kanye West wearing? It was actually the luxury brand, Vêtements, who just released a new hoodie…
Well, as the headline revealed, they are hocking this piece of shit hoodie for $1,265.
But, what if you want an actual metal band t-shirt not some fashion line co-opting a metal logo (not the first time that happened either).
You're in luck because Barney's is also selling a line of "made worn" t-shirts from bands like Metallica, AC/DC, Motorhead, Guns N Roses, Black Flag and more for the low, low price of $175.
$175 dollars for a t-shirt.
That's too much for a t-shirt, you say?
Then how do you feel about Barney's also selling a t-shirt from ultra-luxury brand Givenchy with a skull and Iron Maiden-type on it for $560? Suddenly, $175 sounds like a deal, right?
