Metallica and the San Francisco Giants held their sixth annual Metallica Night at AT&T Park in San Francisco on April 23, which included a performance of the national anthem and the band throwing out the first pitch. You can watch guitarist Kirk Hammett rip out his version of the anthem below, which as always he looks like he's having an absolute blast doing.
A portion of all the tickets sold for Metallica Night went to the band's All Within My Hands Foundation, which aims to donate money to local and national charities that are supported by the individual band members. These charities include music education programs and food banks.
