Just recently, as kids across America returned to school, Korn guitarist Head made a trip to Skyline High School in Mesa, AZ to talk with the kids about life in show business and suicide prevention. The visit, which took place on September 20, was arranged by Alice Cooper's Solid Rock Teen Centers organization, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping young people in Arizona.
The event, titled Scream 4 Me, also featured Head jamming on stage with local musicians. Video clips of Head and friends jamming on "Blind" and "Got The Life," was uploaded TikTok user imtoocoolong, and you can check them out below. Shout out to the kids that played along with Head, too – they did a great job! And of course bonus points for all the kids in the audience that were into it. It just goes to show that like Head said, the metal community is a pretty cool place.
While Korn and Evanescence criss-crossed across the country this summer on a co-headline jaunt, Head took fans behind the scenes to meet the crew that makes all their live shows happen in a new series called All In The Family. One recent interview was with guitar technician Andre, which took a look at everything from his job with the band to when he decided a life on the road was for him. You can check the video out below.
