The fine folks behind hipster rag Vice magazine have launched a new series, On The Road, which is hosted by Eagles of Death Metal frontman Jesse Hughes traveling to shows not to interview the bands, but the people who make the bands look good, the shadow warriors…the road crew. It's a pretty fascinating series, with the highlight being the above episode where they interviewed bands on the red carpet of the Golden Gods Awards this year and then profiled profession roadie Jef Hickey, who's worked with everyone from Madonna to Megadeth. The dude has no regrets about giving his life to rock, well except herpes.
