VATTNET VISKAR has been a band I followed since their early demos, and it's been an absolute pleasure to watch them grow. While most bands of this sub-genre shy further away from being actual metal in an effort to write prettier songs, Vattnet Viskar manages to blend their prettiest and heaviest parts while maintaining their unique sound with each new song. Such is the case with Settler, their amazing new album to be released June 16th via Century Media.

We're stoked to bring you the premiere of the track "Colony", one of eight reasons you should pick up the new album when it drops.

Vattnet Viskar comments on the track:
"I was reading an article about how a colony of ants actually learns faster than Google, which is completely insane. Luckily we had this sort of mathy but still dark sounding song that seemed a perfect match for that concept. I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords."

VATTNET VISKAR will release Settler via Century Media on June 16th, grab your pre-order now.
