VANNA Did A Tastefully Heavy Version Of METALLICA's "Fuel"

Here's one for all y'all that hates radio rock Metallica.

Here's one for all y'all that hates radio rock Metallica.

Vanna dropped its Alt EP last week, consisting purely of covers from artists like Smashing Pumpkins and Metallica. We posted about the band's Marilyn Manson cover a little while ago and everyone seemed to like it, so you're definitely going to want to check out the band's rendition of Metallica's "Fuel." It's heavy yet stays fairly true to the original! At least enough to where it doesn't get weird, yet it's very distinctly Vanna's own work.

Here's what the band had to say about the cover!

“I hate when people said after Metallica cut their hair it was over. False, they were making themselves more aerodynamic for riffage like ‘Fuel.‘ I dare you to put this track on in a car and not get pulled over for speeding. This track not only opened so many doors for the band, it blew them right off the hinges. All hail the kings.”

So yeah, get out there and hunt yourself down a copy of Alt. It's worth it!
