This Is What NINE INCH NAILS' The Downward Spiral Sounds Like As 8-Bit Chiptunes

Nostalgia + nostalgia = fucking awesome nostalgia.

Nine Inch Nails' The Downward Spiral is a classic album by every definition of the term. So why not take the idea of "classic" and apply it to the composition of the music itself? I'm talking about making the album sound like a classic video game soundtrack! Prepare to sing along to Trent Reznor's hurtful tunes all while kind of wishing you were firing up The Legend of Zelda.

Here's hoping someone finds a good game to sync up 8-bit "Hurt" with… and make us all feel a little sadder on the inside.

This isn't the first time NIN got the 8-bit treatment. In 2012, somebody released a 8-bit version of Pretty Hate Machine dubbed Pretty Eight Machine
