Back in May of 2014, I wrote about the rise of nu-djent, think Linkin Park with Meshuggah riffs, and honestly I sort of forgot about it, until I heard today's new track from The Word Alive.
These dudes are livin' it. They're about to release their fourth album, Dark Matter, on March 18th, via Fearless Records, and this is totally realized active radio nu-djent… by which I mean, it's a catchy song with some interesting breakdowns that is sure to get picked up by the Octanes of the world. Most importantly, it'll surely sell some records. Take a listen:
