The Resistance, which is comprised of The Haunted vocalist Marco Aro, ex-In Flames guitarists Jesper Strömblad and Glenn Ljungström, Grave drummer Chris Barkensjö and ex-M.A.N. bassist Rob Hakemo, is exactly as heavy as you think it's going to be and then some. Oh, hey. "For War" is off the group's EP Rise From Treason, which contains six brand new tracks and four old ones to serve as a sampler for new fans. It's actually out now if you want to go grab it! Honestly, I'm just really excited Strömblad decided to do another project post-In Flames that kicks just as much ass as old In Flames did. Everyone else in the group is just brutal gravy.
The group is working on dropping a full-length come this April-ish, so get extra stoked for that.
