So Pelagial is all types of amazing. I can vouch for the vocal-filled version. However, the instrumental version that you can hear right here is a journey within itself. The music by itself is amazingly composed and only gets heavier as the album goes on… and trust me, it goes on. Pelagial is meant to be listened through as one song that takes you deeper and deeper into the metaphoric ocean until you're immersed in total blackness and the crushing weight of the water upon your body crushes you to death. Neat, huh? The band portray that to a friggin' tee with Pelagial, only getting heavier and slower as the music progresses, and the instrumental version of the album gets that across damn well. So whether you can swim or not, you'd be silly not to dive into this churning masterpiece of an album.
