The Kindred are dropping their sort-of debut album tomorrow via Sumerian, so if you're not excited yet or have no idea what the hell I'm talking about then scroll on down and jam the entire album! It's interesting music that crosses over a lot of genre lines but comfortably sits in the midst of them all.
I said "sort-of" debut because they've got another album out under the name Today I Caught the Plague, which I get why they changed it- damn that's a long, silly name. I got turned on to The Kindred in 2010 (I think) when they were still Today I Caught the Plague and they opened up for Protest the Hero. They were so amazing live I got my ass right over to the merch booth and bought the album and a shirt, and I've heard the full album they're putting out as The Kindred.
It's sick.
