Revocation's self-titled release coming August 6 is going to be a monster simply because it's Revocation. Now we've got some confirmation on that assumption.
The song in the teaser is "Archfiend," which I assume will be the first single off the record. It sounds a lot like their stuff on Existence is Futile, which is a step in the right direction. Hell, if this sounds anything like that or Teratogenesis we're in for a sick record. Not that I didn't love Chaos of Forms or anything, but there was just something missing there on parts of that album… oh well. Oh! The self-titled will also include a cover of Metallica's "Dyer's Eve," which is badass and keeps with the band's covering of old-school songs. So who's pumped? The track list is:
