NIGHTFUCKER Deliver An "Addiction Sentence" of Hate-Filled, Sludge-Ridden Doom

The Vancouver trio will release their self-titled full-length record on July 12.

Nightfucker

Slow, long-form doom captures a different kind of hatred or anger. It's a sort of vile and sludge-ridden tone that just cuts a little differently than other genres of music. Where something like grindcore, in general, is swift and exacting in its approach, music like Nightfucker and their bitter, reverb-drenched doom is torturous and unrelenting. The newest single from their impending self-titled album, "Addiction Sentence," captures this booming hate.

Dominic Finbow (guitars) was in the band, MOSS, a renowned UK doom band, before relocating to Vancouver and meeting Nick Hart (drums) and Adam Sorry (bass, vocals) of Ceremonial Bloodbath and Radioactive Vomit. The trio came together roughly 10 years ago to form Nightfucker, and on their first full-length, they capture a ferocious and vitriolic stream of energy. "Addiction Sentence" is a great encapsulation of the band's degradation and debasing of human ideals. At nine minutes long it's a steady drip of acid onto the skin burning away at muscle fibers and fascia.

Listen to an exclusive stream of "Addiction Sentence" now and pre-order the upcoming record from Sentient Ruin Laboratories (USA) and Rope or Guillotine Records (EU).
