It's been a hot minute since a solid metal supergroup has popped up. Luckily, Muldrotha are here to appease such a need with some seriously skilled members from some of the best modern death metal groups including Fallujah, Decrepit Birth, and The Zenith Passage.
The band consists of Greg Hampton (vocals; The Zenith Passage), Rob Maramonte (guitar; The Zenith Passage, Fallujah), Sean Martinez (bass; Decrepit Birth, Atheist, Rings of Saturn), Teresa Wallace (guitar), and Andrew Baird (drums; Fallujah). Keep your eyes and ears out for their debut EP Where Terror Thrives, which releases on April 19th.
I recall initially hearing about this project and being shocked by the amount of talent shoved into one band. While we await to hear the full album, we're proud to be exclusively premiering "A Curse Complete" here at Metal Injection. The track covers the complete extreme metal gamut from pounding modern, groovy chugs into your earholes before unveiling some relentless death metal beats with a bit of progressive hints here and there.
