I don't know about you all, but for me, its been a torturous wait these last few years anxiously hoping for some new Vale Of Pnath material. Their 2011 debut, The Prodigal Empire, was a phenomenal record whose status has definitely been cemented over the years as one of the best modern tech-death records in recent memory.
Now in 2016, the band is finally very close to releasing a follow-up that's succinctly called II. Ahead of its June 10th release through Willowtip Records, we've got an early premiere and lyric video of "A Nightmare Phantasm" to show you today! Vale Of Pnath-II seems to showcase a band who has retained their core elements and killer riffing style, while evolving into a sometimes more proggy force this time which helps propel their sound into new territory to keep things fresh. All of which is present through "A Nightmare Phantasm", a high-octane flurry of grade-A technical death metal done right.
