Shai Hulud released their first album in five years earlier in 2013. Reach Beyond The Sun immediately provoked fans into making the usual "have to wait another five years for a new record" comments. According to a video post made by the band, that doesn't seem to be the case.

The band seemed to be taking fans' comments about waiting another long while in stride. They even joked to one fan they were going to make him wait another half a year for an update just as separate punishment.
It's cool that they're working on some new jams seeing as how good their most recent was, especially withhow sweet that one riff is above.
Just like the sarcastic fans who were jokingly being dicks to them I hope it'll be sooner than later, since I can be a dick on here as well.
