Red Fang is dropping an untitled 7" via Volcom for its upcoming tour and we've already heard one half, which was the band's Fraggle Rock track "Why." So it makes sense for the flip side of a vinyl to be the complete opposite of the previous side, right? Red Fang did exactly that and covered the classic "Can't Help Falling In Love" by Elvis Presley.

If you're familiar with the original, prepare to have your expectations completely and totally shattered. If you're not, here's a cool doom track that you've never heard before! Here's what the band had to say about the track.

“We were asked to cover an Elvis song a while back and none of us are really Elvis fans so we were kind of at a loss. We had this dark and doomy jam we’d been kickin’ around for a while and we thought ‘what if we just record our own song and see if we can make the lyrics fit somehow?’ And to our surprise it turned out pretty rad! Maybe Elvis is spinning in his grave, but we dig it.”

Scroll down to hear the original as well.

So, what did you think? A worthy cover or skip it?
